§ 01 — The brief

What was needed

Kunang & Friends needed a homepage parents could read in English or Indonesian, fast on inexpensive phones, and a separate play app for children.

Constraints: one person maintains it, English lives at / and Indonesian at /id/, no tracking scripts, and it runs on the studio’s own server.

§ 02 — The approach

What I did

    Static where it can be

    The homepage is content, so it ships as static HTML with zero required JavaScript.

  2. 02

    Interactive where it must be

    The play app is a separate Next.js app with Supabase on its own subdomain.

  3. 03

    Strict by default

    A tight Content-Security-Policy and nginx served behind Cloudflare.

  4. 04

    Self-hosted

    Docker images built in GitHub Actions, pulled by Coolify on palem.cloud.
